Urgent Care

What We Offer

Urgent care clinics treat injuries, illnesses, and ailments that require immediate attention but are not life-threatening. Most urgent care centers are open at least twelve hours a day on weekdays and keep later, longer regular business hours. It is not uncommon for centers to open as early as 7 a.m. and close as late as 12 p.m. for the convenience of patients. This makes them a convenient alternative to a mid-week appointment with a primary care physician, and because appointments do not need to be scheduled several days in advance, patients can get the treatment they require when they need it.

Benefits of Urgent Care

The following are the benefits of urgent care clinics:

Time: If you have an injury or illness that requires immediate attention, you will almost always be seen sooner at an urgent care clinic. Most patients visiting an urgent care center will wait 30 minutes or less before being seen, whereas those visiting a hospital may have to wait hours because those in more serious situations are given priority. While this is an important consideration when seeking medical attention, you should always go to an emergency room if your situation is life threatening.

Another great advantage of urgent care clinics is that they can perform tasks that many people believe require appointments with their primary care physicians. Instead of making an appointment, you can save time by simply walking into an urgent care clinic.

High-quality doctors: One of the most significant advantages of using an urgent care clinic is that you will have access to the highest quality physicians. These clinics are staffed by highly trained and qualified doctors who can treat anything from a simple cold to more serious medical issues. And, because these clinics are frequently much less expensive than other options, you will be able to get the care you require without breaking the bank.

Cost: One significant advantage of urgent care over other types of emergency services is that it is generally less expensive. Not only do most urgent care clinics accept most types of health insurance, but they also have lower copays than an emergency room. This is great news for those who avoid medical treatment because they are afraid they won't be able to afford it.

Convenience: Urgent care clinics are typically open after regular doctor's office hours. Few are open 24 hours a day, but the majority are open until late at night, and many are open on weekends and holidays. This makes urgent care an excellent choice if you are unable to see your primary care physician during regular business hours.

Reduced ER visits: A lot of people usually go to the ER if they can't get an appointment with their primary care physician or if they don't have one. Patients no longer need to go to the ER for a costly visit to get a cold treated or an X-ray because of urgent care clinics.
